Family-Based Immigration
U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents can sponsor certain family members to come to the United States or obtain legal status here. We assist with petitions for spouses, parents, children, and other qualifying relatives, including gathering supporting documents, preparing the petition package, and guiding you through every step of the process.

Green Cards (Adjustment of Status & Consular Processing)
A green card grants permanent legal residence in the United States. We represent clients applying through Adjustment of Status (AOS) if they are already in the U.S., as well as through consular processing for those completing their immigrant visa interview at a U.S. embassy or consulate abroad.
For Tampa-area clients, we provide in-person representation at USCIS interviews at the Tampa Field Office, including marriage-based and other family-based green card interviews.

DACA Renewal (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals)
DACA provides temporary protection from deportation and work authorization for eligible individuals brought to the United States as children. At this time, USCIS is processing DACA renewals only. Initial DACA applications are accepted by USCIS but are not being processed or approved due to ongoing federal court orders. If you currently have DACA, do not wait to renew. Timelines can be unpredictable and filing early, ideally 4 to 5 months before your current DACA and work permit expire, is strongly recommended. We assist with DACA renewal packages, responding to USCIS requests, and exploring other potential immigration options for Dreamers who may qualify for a more permanent path.

Work Permits (Employment Authorization)
A work permit, formally called an Employment Authorization Document (EAD), allows someone to work legally in the United States while an immigration case is pending or based on a qualifying immigration category. We help clients apply for and renew work permits based on Adjustment of Status, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), VAWA, U-Visas, DACA, and other eligible categories.

Naturalization & U.S. Citizenship
Becoming a U.S. citizen is one of the most significant milestones in an immigrant's life. We assist with the N-400 naturalization application, review your immigration and travel history to identify any potential issues before you file, and prepare you thoroughly for your USCIS interview and civics test. For Tampa-area clients, we provide in-person representation at naturalization interviews at the Tampa Field Office.

Asylum
Asylum provides protection to individuals who have suffered persecution or have a well-founded fear of persecution in their home country based on race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion. We represent asylum seekers in affirmative asylum applications before the Tampa Asylum Office as well as in defensive asylum claims before the immigration courts.

Humanitarian Programs
In addition to asylum, we represent clients seeking protection through the full range of humanitarian immigration options, including:
VAWA: For survivors of abuse by a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident spouse, parent, or child
U-Visa: For victims of qualifying crimes who have cooperated or are willing to cooperate with law enforcement
T-Visa: For survivors of human trafficking
Humanitarian Parole: For urgent situations requiring temporary permission to enter or remain in the U.S.
Temporary Protected Status (TPS): For nationals of designated countries affected by armed conflict, environmental disasters, or other extraordinary conditions

If you or a family member has received a Notice to Appear (NTA) or is facing deportation proceedings, experienced legal representation is critical. We represent clients in removal defense proceedings at Orlando Immigration Court and before immigration courts nationwide. We also assist clients with ICE check-in appointments in the Tampa area, helping you understand your rights, prepare for the appointment, and navigate next steps.

Employment-Based Immigration
We assist foreign workers and professionals with a range of employment-based visa categories, including:
H-1B: Specialty occupations requiring a bachelor's degree or higher
TN: Professionals from Canada and Mexico under the USMCA
O-1: Individuals with extraordinary ability in business, science, arts, education, or athletics
L-1: Intracompany transferees moving from an international office to a U.S. location
PERM Labor Certification: The employer-sponsored first step toward a permanent green card
We help ensure your petition is complete, accurate, and well-supported.
Waivers (I-601 & I-601A)
Some applicants cannot obtain a visa or green card without first receiving a waiver for past immigration violations, unlawful presence, or other issues in their history. We assist with:
I-601 Waiver: Filed in connection with consular processing, typically from outside the United States
I-601A Provisional Unlawful Presence Waiver: Filed inside the United States to minimize time abroad before the final consular interview
Waiver cases require strong supporting evidence and careful preparation. We guide you through the full process.

FOIA Requests & Immigration Record Reviews
A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request allows you to obtain your immigration records from USCIS, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the Department of State, and other agencies. This is useful if you have lost documents, are uncertain about your immigration history, or want a full picture of your record before moving forward with a new application. We assist with FOIA requests and provide thorough case reviews to help you understand your options.

Biometrics Appointments
Many USCIS applications require a biometrics appointment at a USCIS Application Support Center (ASC) for fingerprinting and identity verification. Tampa-area clients attend biometrics at the Tampa Application Support Center. We make sure you are prepared for your appointment, understand what to bring, and know what to expect before and after.
